The Business Problem
Many of today's Project Managers are unprepared for the
projects they face. Perhaps they have never taken a project management workshop. Or, they
took a class a long ago, and never had time to apply it. Perhaps they can't get away from
their projects long enough to attend a workshop. Whatever the reason, their skills are not
current.
This is happening in your organization if any of the
following are consistently true
 | Projects are late |
 | Projects cost significantly more than estimated |
 | Customers are dissatisfied, and find too many defects in
completed work |
 | Managers feel they have no control of projects in their
area |
 |
There is no consistent project management
process, reporting, or change project change control |
The net result: Your projects, that could be the basis for
competitive advantage, fail to seize the opportunities you expect. And sometimes, they just
plain fail!
Why Modular Project Management
Training?
Increasingly, many organizations need "just in
time" training for Project Managers who do not have time to take an entire workshop.
And, with new emphasis on Enterprise Project Management, more organizations than ever before are discovering the need for increased Project Manager Competence. Recognizing this, we've created modular workshops that focus on today's most important
project skills, and grouped those workshops into curriculums that match different needs:
 | Group 1: The Core Modules |
 |
Group 2: Advanced Enterprise Modules, and |
 | Group 3: Advanced Information Technology Modules |
With our modules, we have been able to quickly
custom-develop instructor led training for groups ranging from Big Six consulting
firms, to insurance companies, to enterprises just like yours. Likewise, our
modular training increases your
options for getting the instructor-led training you need to help solve your business
problems.
Durations and Configurations
Each modular group consists of several modules, and each module is one-half to
one-full day. This is a great way for your to teach project management to your teams. And within your custom curriculum, you can choose just the modules that
you need. Or, choose modules from across the curriculums to create your update topics for those who have already been exposed to the basics of Project Management. Depending on your staff training needs,
you can configure a workshop for as few as 2 days, or as much as a series of
four 2-3 day workshops.
Select modules from the groups below to configure the training you need.
Any module can stand alone. All modules combine learner-centered instruction,
case exercise application, and facilitated discussion. Ask how participants
can use their own current project as their case study, for the highest relevance in learning!

Too Many Options?
Here's Help!
If you are overwhelmed with the wealth of options, see
this page, that helps
individuals decide which modules will help you the most. Just complete the
page, checking the items recommended in the roles you fill, then print the
page and give it to your Education and Training or Learning Professional.
Selected modules are excellent for participants of prior
workshops who need a refresher on a specific content area. This program is great for
