Portfolio Management for Executives: Managing Aligning Projects With Strategy
Today’s Enterprise, demonstrating good-to-excellent visibility into ongoing business processes, seldom has the same visibility into its portfolios of programs and projects. Yet your success in managing organizational-change initiatives determines your continued successes.

We customize this Overview to the unique needs of your Enterprise, selecting the appropriate handful of topics from our series that has provided Executives insights for over 20 years.  The duration is also scalable; a C-Level Executive Session might be 1-2 hours, while key Managers who make prioritization, resource allocation and business benefit decisions, may require a full day. Executive Overview: Managing the Successful Project ClimateSM (2 - 4 hours)
We customize this Overview for each customer to provide your key managers and executives with information that is most relevant for your organization. It provides a better understanding of the steps managers can take to benefit from your investment in Project Management Learning.

This Overview focuses on whats, not hows, including what questions to ask, what themes to support, and the commitments your organization must make to maximize success. We develop different versions for different levels of management, from supervisor to executive. Go to detailed Outline

Managing Competent Project Managers: The Role of the Value-Added Manager
This workshop builds upon the knowledge standards, by also applying the USA’s Competence Development Baseline (USA-NCB), from asapm, American Society for the Advancement of Project Management. While consistent with other standards, the USA-NCB moves the workshop beyond knowledge, to help Managers improve Performance Competence. Managers must manage the context of their staff’s projects, and coach staff in improving performance in their interpersonal skills.

Moving beyond single projects, managing multiple Project Managers with multiple concurrent projects: This workshop uniquely provides Managers with a better understanding of the steps you can take to improve your organization’s project management. It identifies the information you should expect from Project Managers, to improve project success, and describes the actions for you to focus upon, to add value in every project initiative in your areas of responsibility. Manager's Overview: Managing the Small Project Climate (4 hours)
Do you have Small Projects? This Manager's Overview describes the basics of our unique Small Project Management approach, which we cover in our site-licensable Co-Pilot: Small Project Guide. We identify the key roles and opportunities with this approach for managers and executives. Of special interest for any organization with small projects is our personal prioritization process, plus ways to determine how well your staff is implementing the Small Project Management approach. In addition to these Overviews, most Managers will also benefit from our Advanced half-day and full-day Modules in our unique Modular Project Management curriculum.
